Jonathan Silver’s plaster heads were the subject of an extended conversation at the New York Studio School on January 15, 2019. The occasion was the exhibition, “Jonathan Silver: Drawings and Heads,” curated by Marion Smit, the president of the Silver Foundation. Participants were Michael Brenson, John Crawford, Eyal Danieli, Bruce Gagnier, Celia Gerard, Amanda Guest, Jock Ireland, Brandt Junceau, Smit, Eric Sutphin and Deirdre Swords.
